A new musical version of the children’s classic, where Rumpelstiltskin turns out to be a sweet, but misunderstood man who tangles with a sharp-tongued Miller’s Daughter; her hapless father brags to his bumbling friends the Tanner and Cobbler; and an incompetent King fights off his spoiled, bratty sisters, while his senile jester, Melbrook, bumbles around.
